Listen to Tate curators sharing their expert views on his work, hear from the artist in his own words, watch film clips, and explore Miró’s life and times through the illustrated timeline.

This app was created on the occasion of the 2011 retrospective exhibition at Tate Modern – Miró: The Ladder of Escape. All artworks featured are shown in the exhibition but you don’t have to come to Tate Modern to enjoy the experience. If you visit, you can use the app as a gallery guide and later as a memento. If you can’t visit, use the app as your own personal exhibition of Miró’s work, to explore again and again.
